PUKE MASERUMULE
Chairman and Founder of Maserumule Incorporated

Maserumule holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town , a Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law from Rand Afrikaans University and a non-degree certificate in Constitutional Litigation from Wits University.

Maserumule has more than seventeen years' experience as an attorney, during which period he has contributed to the development of the new labour jurisprudence in South Africa . He previously worked for Webber Wentzel Bowen's and Cheadle Thompson Haysom before co-establishing Tshabalala Maserumule Attorneys in 1992 and Maserumule Incorporated in 1998.

Maserumule specializes in all aspects of labour and employment law, as well as commercial law. He has acted as a Labour Court judge periodically since 1997 and as a High Court judge in 1999. In his capacity as an acting Judge of the Labour Court , he has been involved in interpreting labour legislation and building the new labour jurisprudence. He is also a member of the legal team that drafted amendments to the Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act. He is also an accredited mediator and arbitrator. He has, since 2001, co-presented the prestigious Juta's Annual Labour Law Update.

PETER MOSEBO
Director and Co-Founder

Mosebo holds a BA (Law) Degree from the National University of Lesotho and a LLB Degree from Wits University .

Mosebo's involvement in employment and labour law spans a period of more than ten years, starting in 1992 when he was employed in the Legal Department of the National Union of Mineworkers.

He later served his articles at Tshabalala Maserumule Attorneys, where he became a professional assistant until 01 March 1998 when he became a co-founder and a director of Maserumule Incorporated Attorneys.

Mosebo practices in the firm's labour law department, concentrating on municipal law, pension law, commercial and corporate law, as well as health and safety law.

BANKEY SONO
Director

Ms Sono holds B Proc and LLB degrees from Wits University . She completed her articles with the Wits Law Clinic in 1998 and was admitted as an attorney in 1999.

She worked for Africa Solutions Consultants for a year before joining Maserumule Incorporated as an associate in March 2000. She is appointed as a Director with effect from January 2004.

Ms Sono specializes in labour and civil litigation as well as training.

OLIVIA MAMABOLO
Director

Ms Mamabolo holds a B Proc degree from the University of the North, an LLB degree and a certificate in Insolvency Litigation and Administration Practice from the University of Pretoria .

She worked for two years as a legal officer for the South African Commercial Catering and Allied Worker's Union , before joining Lephoko Attorneys as a candidate attorney in 1997.

She joined Maserumule Incorporated in January 1999, and was admitted as an attorney in 2000. She is appointed Director with effect from January 2004. Mamabolo specializes in labour litigation and training.

GLORIA NDLOVU
Director

Ms Ndlovu holds B Juris and LLB degrees from the University of the Western Cape . She completed her articles with Majavu and Associates Attorneys and was admitted as an attorney in 2002.

She worked at Niewouldt and Kruger Labour Consultant for a short stint before joining Maserumule Incorporated Attorneys in February 2003 as an Associate. She was appointed Associate with effect from January 2004.

In 2005 she joined Routledge Modise Moss Morris Attorneys as a Senior Associate and was appointed a Director in January 2006. She rejoined Maserumule Incorporated Attorneys as a Director in May 2006. She specializes in all aspects of labour law and litigation.

GLEN CASSELLS
Director

Mr. Cassells holds the BLC LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria . He completed his articles at Rooth & Wessels where he remained as an associate. He later practiced for his own account in Cape Town , until September 2006 when he joined the firm as a Director. Mr. Cassells is based in Cape Town and manages the firm's branch office there. He specializes in employment law and civil litigation. He has more than fifteen years experience in the employment law field.

BRENDAN GUY
Director

Brendan Guy holds a BA LLB degree from University of Cape Town and a Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law from the University of Potchestroom. He was articled to the firm Lionel Murray Inc in Cape Town and thereafter worked as an associate attorney at Grant Gunston Incorporated. Brendan then worked as a senior labour consultant at Andrew Levy & Associates where he was responsible for litigation, training and labour seminars. Thereafter and for five years he practiced for his own account as an attorney until he joined Maserumule as a director on 01 August 2008. Brendan has over 11 years experience and he specializes in employment law.

EDWIN SEGAFI NKWANA
Director

Mr Nkwana holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University of Limpopo (formerly University of the North).

He served his articles of clerkship with Peers Attorneys of Marshalltown, Johannesburg and was admitted as an Attorney in April 2003. He served as an Associate in firms Lebea & Associates, Nomali Tshabalala and Leppan Beech Incorporated Attorneys before joining Maserumule Incorporated Attorney as an associate IN April 2006.

He specializes in Employment Law, Labour Law, Civil and Commercial Law.

TSHEPO HOPE SETHOSA
Associate

Ms Tshepo Hope Sethosa holds an LLB degree from the University of Limpopo (formerly University of the North.) She completed her articles with Mike Langa & Associates Attorneys in 2002. She was admitted as an attorney in January 2003 before joining Nomali Tshabalala Attorneys in 2003 as an Associate. She joined the firm in March 2007 as an Associate. Tshepo specializes in all aspects pf employment law and civil litigation.

MOHALE MICHAEL RAMATLOU
Associate

Mr Mohale Michael Ramatlou holds an LLB degree from University of Limpopo (formerly University of the North.) He commenced his articles with Tshiqi Zebediela Inc Attorneys and ceded his articles to Nomali Tshabalala Attorneys, where he completed his articles. He was admitted as an attorney in November 2006. Between 2002 and 2004, Mr Ramatlou worked as a Judge Associate at the Labour Court , Johannesburg . He was appointed by the firm as an Associate in March 2007. Mr Ramatlou specializes in Labour and Employment law and civil litigation.

Mr Siyabonga Mbali holds an LLB degree from Walter Sisulu University of Technology (previously known as University of Transkei) He commenced his articles with Nomali Tshabalala Attorneys, where he completed his articles. He was admitted as an attorney in November 2005. He was appointed by Nomali Tshabalala as an Associate in November 2005. He then joined Maserumule Incorporated Attorneys in July 2008. Mr Mbali specializes in Labour and Employment law and civil litigation.

LARRENEA LE SAR
Associate

Larrenéa Le Sar holds a LLB Degree from UNISA; a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Cape Town and further participated in an Advanced Employment Law Certificate Course at the University of Cape Town. She served her articles at Guy and Associates Attorneys in 2007 and where she practiced as an associate before joining Maserumule Inc Attorneys (Cape Town) in August 2008. Ms Le Sar focuses on labour and employment law, disciplinary enquiries and litigation.
